The Glass Produced from Recycled Soda-Lime Glass Cullet by Slip Casting

Slip casting is a ceramic processing technique which can be used to produce complex-shape object. In the present work, slip was applied 70 mm × 10 15 green samples from recycled soda-lime glass. The with 60% solid loading prepared 100 g of cullet, 1 sodium silicate as binder, 50 ml DI water, and 16.7 deflocculant. deflocculant for 0.1 wt% tripolyphosphate solution. After casting, were dried at room temperature 3 days. Then sintered 680, 700, 720 °C soaking time 2 hrs 5 °C/min heating rate. results statistical analysis showed that there high variation on flexural strength should closed porosity pore-size samples. Therefore, our glass produced not suitable load bearing applications. However, this still other art products such Buddha amulets.
